John's favorite appeteaser: steamed artichokes with lemon-butter...I had to take a picture of the first "cut" in my house. (Up 'til now it's been subs and pizzas. I am SICK of eating out.)

And I had to include these next three.

Here's my hubbo, trying to get Deadeye to pay attention to him while Mom and I cooked...

Deadeye is more interested in the steak I'm trimming.

...and yet, He is Unmoved.
