Looooooong Day

Today was a wonderful day...the day I discovered that if John and I DON'T live on the beach, when we have the where-with-all, when we don't have little ones that will dictate the school district, and when we actually LIVE in a town that is commensurate with the beach...then we're crazy.

We've decided we need to live near the water...so we can see things like this...

Arms and I were happy here...even though this particular house was a little creepy. See the pics on the wall behind us...? This house was a SHRINE to this little girl...which I found odd - considering what we saw next.

(Let's NOT consider how large my hips look here for a second...and let's consider how WEIRD this list of "don'ts" are for this poor child who lives here...)

That note totally freaked me out. I would NEVER say these things to a child. Good Heavens. We all called this house the "mommie dearest" house...

Anyway. Let's move on.

We loved the Norfolk Island Pine we found in one backyard...beautiful.

What a cute puppy...

But Arms was tired...so after 8 hours, we called it a day. We'll find the right one eventually.
