Poor Bond...he's not Spectre, but he's a nice dog. (Bond belongs to our friends Duke and Becky, and we were house-sitting for them the 2 days before John had to go to Afghanistan...)
He's a Saluki-mix...Salukis are Arab hunting dogs. Quite beautiful. Skinny, fine-boned dogs who can run like the wind. Unfortunately, Bond is black, and he has the blond spots above his eyes that are, according to the Prophet Mohammed, the mark of the Devil.
Interesting, because Bond is a "Pound" dog. Duke said he'd been there a while...I guess because people didn't want to adopt a "Devil-marked Dog."
Whatever.
Just another reason to prefer Christianity.
